What’s On

What’s on at Frome Heritage Museum? Even a short visit will show you permanent displays featuring textiles, printing and metal working. There is a street scene featuring various shops and working premises. The museum displays an object of the month and there are short term exhibitions always featuring subjects special to Frome. By appointment there is a library full of documents about Frome, some of them very old. There is also a collection room with stores of physical artefacts.

Coming Soon

The museum is open at the same time as the monthly Frome Independent Sunday market if you fancy a quiet few moments to investigate Frome history.

In 2021 we took in major donations from the Frome Society for Local Study archives and the Sylvia Green archives. We are grateful for these – they are significant additions to the Museum’s material on the history of Frome and are valuable additions to the material available to researchers.
