Everyone working at the Museum is a volunteer. Whether working ‘back stage’ in the library or collection room or ‘front of house’ welcoming visitors and creating exhibitions we all contribute to the recording and understanding of Frome’s heritage.
Frome Heritage Museum likes to engage with local schools so that children grow up in the town appreciating their environment, its proud history and its exciting potential.
Frome Museum is run entirely by volunteers and a range of interesting opportunities are available.
Frome is a small, but quickly growing, town at the far eastern edge of the county of Somerset, dating back to at least 685AD.
