For the Researcher

The museum’s collection is open to researchers by appointment throughout the year and is also available on the online collections catalogue.

If you would like to visit, please phone or e-mail us to arrange an appointment, providing brief details of your research. This will help the volunteers to locate the relevant documents and photographs in advance of your visit.

You will need our permission to take photographs and, in line with policy at most archives today, there are charges for photocopies and other services. Details are available on request.

Wifi is available if you wish to bring your own laptop or iPad.
